Congratulations Hammerheads! Last Tuesday’s was a great win (251 to 188)! Thanks to all of our volunteers who helped the meet run smoothly and who made it a lot of fun!

Also, thanks to our junior coaches for their help and FANTASTIC swimming! Having our older swimmer is so important - the 13+ swimmers won 76 of our total points and the 15+ swimmers added another 41 points.

Congratulations to this week’s Sharks of the Week!

• Savanna Bryant - Savanna swam a “really fast” backstroke as part of her relay time. Her practice is paying off!
• Luke Evans - Luke’s has excellent form on his freestyle stroke and it showed during his strong performance at Tuesday’s meet.
• Abby James - Abby has shown great improvement this year and done it all with a great attitude. She is swimming well!
• Molly Fields - Molly has improved her strength, speed and form this year to become one of our best swimmers.

No Movie this Friday

There will no movie night this Friday. We still don’t have a projector.

Next Meet July 14 at HOME against Wellington Park

The next meet is July 14 at HOME against Wellington Park. All swimmers AND volunteers should be at the pool by 4:45pm (unless you’re setting up for the meet!) for pre-meet warm-ups and preparations. Hammerhead swimmers will have warm-ups at 5:00pm. There will be a volunteer meeting at 5:15pm to review responsibilities and answer questions.

The meet will begin at 6:00pm. Check Kristine’s email for volunteer positions and stay tuned for concession donation requests!

Awards Night - Tuesday, July 28

The Hammerheads will have an awards night on Tuesday, July 28 at the CV Big Gazebo. Join us for a dessert celebration from 6:30 – 8:00 to celebrate our third season.
